COLORDMD SADDLES UP FOR THE TEXAS PINBALL FESTIVAL!
We're riding boys!... well at least
our display will be. On March 23-25, the ColorDMD will be on
display in the Elevation Games
booth at the Texas Pinball Festival.
TPF will be held in the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in

ColorDMD
makes its first public appearance in 2012 at the Ohio Pinball Show on
March 9th and 10th at the Emidio Expo Center in Cuyahoga Falls,

There's been a lot of activity over the last few months to pull the ColorDMD together and we're starting to enter what we expect to be the home stretch. Since our previous board was revealed, we have improved the board design and added USB support for firmware updates. We also improved our mounting bracket to fit in both WPC95 and WPC games. Many parts have been ordered and we expect board assembly to begin later this month. In addition, Chris has created some custom tooling to assist with cable assembly.
Instead of a preorder, we've decided to just build up the first run and list it for sale once it's ready. First run units will be available both through our website as well as through one of our distributors. Please join our mailing list to receive updates as we move closer to a release date.
COLORDMD LANDS AT THE SOUTHERN PINBALL FESTIVAL!
Rounding out its US tour, the
ColorDMD display will arrive in Orlando, FL for the Southern Pinball
Festival on November 18-20! Special thanks to John Ilgenfritz for
offering up his personal game for the demonstration, as well as show
organizers Spencer Carey, Donny White, and Leon Essex. This is
the first
annual pinball show in the Central Florida area, and takes place during

the Houston Arcade & Pinball Expo on November 11-12 in Houston,

ColorDMD is going to the big
show! With some last minute shuffling and excellent support from
Rob Berk, Mike Pacak, and Larry Scott, we're excited to announce that
the ColorDMD display will be exhibited at Pnball Expo 2011 in Chicago,
Illinois on October 19-23! Randy and Chris will both make the
trip, and will be on hand to answer questions from Thursday though
Saturday morning. A ColorDMD seminar will also be provided on
Thursday, October 20 at 5:00pm. For additional information and the

In addition to
running the Orange County Pinball League, Chris is known to many in the
pinball community for his exacting reproductions of hard to obtain
molded and machined pinball parts... not to mention custom ColorDMD
mounting brackets! Over the past few months, Chris has taken an
active role in the ColorDMD project, helping to accelerate our progress
and leading the colorization of a second game using the ColorDMD
engine. If you think AFM looks good in color, just wait until you
see what Chris has planned!COLORDMD REVEALED!
ColorDMD has released the first pictures of a production prototype featuring a custom circuit board, mounting bracket, and flat panel LCD. The ColorDMD display will be available for play at the 2011 Pacific Pinball Expo from Friday, September 23, through Sunday morning in the Bay Area Amusements booth. Look for the brightly colored AFM with the ColorDMD logo on top! Additional information will be provided during a ColorDMD presentation on Friday, September 23 at 2:00pm. COLORDMD DEBUT AT PPE5
We are pleased to announce that the ColorDMD
project and prototype will
debut at the 2011 Pacific Pinball Expo in San Rafael,
California on September 23-25. An Attack From Mars pinball
machine with an integrated ColorDMD
display
will be available for play to PPE5 attendees. In addition, Randy
Perlow will present a talk at PPE on Friday, September 23 that
highlights the evolution of the ColorDMD and provides more information
on the status of the ColorDMD

A lot of progress has been made over the last few months on the ColorDMD project. So much in fact that we've decided to move the website into public view and acknowledge that this project actually exists (not that we did a very good job hiding it in the first place).
